Audris is a native Michiganite with southern roots. At the young age of eight, she declared nursing as my professional career. She never let go of that dream. To date, Audris has 35 years of nursing experience. Approximately 29 years have been in the home health care arena. Additionally, she has 10 years of adjunct professorial experience.

Her professional experiences have ranged from Quality Appraisal Coordinator to Chief Clinical Officer in home health. Her most venturous position was that of Nurse Surveyor for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). This was an excellent opportunity as it allowed her to not only evaluate the performance of health organizations, it opened the gateway to educate organizations on quality standards and the implementations of those standards. Moreover, she learned innovative ways to implement and sustain quality measures through this experience.

Educationally, Audris holds an Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s , and Ph.D. degree in Nursing.

Audris has been a seamstress since age 13 and still enjoys sewing her own clothes. After approximately 35 years, she reconnected to my hobby of crocheting. She enjoys making baby clothing and someday plans to launch a crocheted baby clothing line of handmade items.

Tina’s healthcare career began as a high school co-op placement and has grown into nearly 40 years of experience across home health, insurance, wellness, and hospice. Starting as a transcriptionist, she advanced into roles spanning billing, IT, finance, administration, management, nursing, and ownership. She has traveled nationwide to launch new home health offices, strengthen operations, and contribute to strategic planning as a board member. After owning several home health agencies in Michigan, Tina and her partners acquired Michigan Community VNA in 2014, expanding their portfolio to include wellness and hospice services. She enjoys working behind the scenes to improve daily operations through technology, administration, and finance.

Although much of Tina’s career was administrative, she earned her BSN from Chamberlain University in 2021 with Presidential Honors. She felt called to personally care for patients and families while deepening her understanding of the clinical side of her businesses. Since graduating, Tina has specialized in hospice care with a focus on improving the clinical and patient experience, and she currently leads the hospice team.

Tina has been married nearly 35 years to her husband, Greg, and they have three grown children and a grandson. Outside of work, they spend most of their time with family and are actively involved in their church, serving in many ways including the children’s and music ministries.

Tina is grateful her work makes a meaningful difference in patients’ lives each day.
